The main thing that has made the TLA-100A an industry standard since it’s introduction in the mid-80s is that it’s one of the easiest compressors to use, allowing the focus to remain on the performance…not on the gear.

What should I say about the TLA 1o0 that hasn’t beed said? It is one of THE classics audio recording. For some it is THE best tracking comp out there. One thing’s for sure though: I can’t think of any other comp that will put a vocal or bass at ease like the TLA does.
